The Denture Process.

The denture process takes about 6 hours and 3 appointments.

Appointment #1 - An impression is taken of your gums, and teeth if any. A bite registration is also taken to see how your top jaw relates to your bottom jaw.

Appointment #2 - Usually 1.5 – 2 hours after the first visit. The actual teeth that are going to be used in your denture are set in a wax base and a “wax try-in” is completed in this visit. You will actually see how your new dentures will look at this appointment. If you like how your denture looks, we complete it with the final processing step that takes about 4 hours. If for any reason you do not like how the teeth look, It takes us about 10 minutes to reset the teeth. We will reset the teeth as many times as needed in this appointment until you are happy with the look of your new denture.

Appointment #3 – Usually 4 hours after the second visit. The denture is now processed and tried in your mouth. A few minor adjustments are made and you take home your new smile.
